Caroline Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon Icewine is part of an Elite Collection of Icewines designed to bring the romance back into wine by introducing Icewine as The Most Romantic Wine™. Distinctive characteristics from each varietal evoke a different taste profile and emotion. This rich, flavorful nectar will be a wine that can be paired with your mood not just your food. The discerning consumer will appreciate the promise of this collection.

This Icewine is the Artisan Prince of Caroline Cellars Winery. It is created from the winery's estate grown grapes. Mother Nature's special winter kiss sets the stage for The Most Romantic Wine™. Grapes are left on the vine well into the winter months to naturally freeze and thaw. This process causes dehydration in the grape so it concentrates the sugars, acids, and extracts, thereby intensifying the flavors while adding complexity to the wine. The handpicked grapes are immediately pressed at the coldest moment of a winter’s night under the strict supervision of the VQA. Each pressed frozen grape creates just one smooth, rich, luxurious drop of Icewine juice. The juice is fermented in stainless steel tanks for at least 3 months or more by the artisan wine maker. As a result it boasts of a berry jam and marmalade on the nose, with a hint of chocolate and vanilla as well. Flavors of strawberry jam and candied orange peel dominate the palate, with a slight spicy nutmeg and caramel to offer the exceptional balance.

Served Chilled. Best served alone or can be mixed with a myriad of selected

liquors to commence a Romantic Journey ™ cocktail.
